Catherine and Jonathan were married recently at St Johns College, with dancing in the evening at the Cambridge Union Society. I met Catherine in The Felix Hotel in the morning where she and her bridesmaids were busy getting ready. There was a lot going on, although everyone was very calm and I spent a few hours capturing all the action. I then headed off to the college to meet up with Jonathan and his groomsmen where they were chilling in the bar! After several shots (photos that is!!) with them around the college I then met up with Catherine again, who had already arrived. The ceremony in St Johns Chapel was absolutely breathtaking. It’s such a beautiful building and how lucky were Catherine and Jonathan to be able to be married there?!! After the ceremony we headed over to the Great Hall for champagne, tea and cake. Catherine had kept telling me that she wanted lots of photos of her cake – I can totally see why! It was simply stunning – and tasted good too 🙂 Dinner was also taken in the Great Hall and then it was over to the Cambridge Union for dancing. Catherine and Jonathan did The Tango for their first dance which was great fun to watch and photograph and then everyone joined them for some Ceilidh dancing! Again great fun to watch and everyone really got into it and had a fantastic time.
Throughout the day it was so clear that Jonathan absolutely adores Catherine. They are so much in love and it was simply an honour to capture all the excitement, emotion and fun of their day in such stunning and grand surroundings. Thank you guy’s for letting me share your day with you 🙂 Here are some (actually quite a few) of my favourites
Please do leave a comment – my couples love to hear nice things about their special day 🙂
