I recently photographed the wedding of the lovely Louise and Rob. The wedding took place at the end of September at a new venue to me; All Saints Hotel in Fornham, just outside Bury St Edmunds. It has recently been taken over by Milsoms and beautifully renovated, with lovely fresh decor and a clean modern finish.

On the big day, I first went to meet Louise at her parent’s house to capture her and her family getting ready. The mood was very calm, the bubbles were flowing and everyone was very excited for the wedding. Louise looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful lace detailed dress and brightly coloured flower crown – which fitted the theme of the decor and blooming bouquets perfectly.

I took a couple of photos in the garden before I made my way over to the venue to meet the groom and their wedding guests. The Groom looked exceptionally dapper in his bow tie and chinos.

The ceremony was taken by friend and pastor of the couple’s church, which made it incredibly personal. During the service the roof was raised with the great music from the band and all the singing. There really was such an amazing atmosphere in a room brimming with love for this lovely couple.

Louise and Rob headed outside hand in hand for the important ‘confetti shot’, both beaming whilst enjoying their first glass of bubbly as man and wife. Their guests also enjoyed drinks and canapes as they chatted and laughed away.

We then headed out to the grounds for a handful of group shots overlooking the stunning golf course. Afterwards we had some time to jump into golf buggies, which was great fun, for some couple shots in the beautiful grounds of All Saints Hotel.

After a few couple shots we headed back inside where guests were seated ready for the speeches. They were very entertaining and loved by the guests – lots of tales filled with love and laughter and I caught some great shots of the reactions.

Guests enjoyed a relaxed barbeque for the wedding breakfast in the brightly decorated reception room. The room looked lovely with fresh white decor, and the tables were named after different wines which was a lovely and different idea. The cork ‘Love’ letters looked really rustic on the handmade table plan – very unique touches which I loved.

As night fell, we had time for a quick sparkler archway shot before the first dance – a beautiful shot of the newlyweds.

The couple then enjoyed their first dance. It wasn’t long before their wedding guests joined them to dance their way into the night. The dance floor was full which was great as I could get loads of fantastic shots. It was then time to say goodbye and leave them partying into the night…

It was such a great day to be part of – I thoroughly enjoyed capturing this lovely couple and sharing a part of their amazing day.
